Cleaner for removing rust, limescale and salt deposits on boats

Blue Marine Dexotone cleaner is designed to remove rust build-up, limescale deposits and salt residue on boats. After treatment, a water-repellent protective layer remains on the treated surface.

The product is suitable for stainless steel, fibreglass, gelcoat and metals. It can also be used to clean engine cooling circuits on inboard and outboard engines, and for cleaning and polishing metal parts and fibreglass.

Directions for use

Removing rust and oxidation

1. Apply the product directly to the surface.
2. Leave to work for 5 to 15 minutes.
3. Clean with a sponge and rinse with clean water.

Limescale deposits, salt deposits and yellowing

1. Dilute the product with water at a ratio of 1:1 to 1:4, depending on the level of soiling.
2. Apply and leave to work for 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Clean with a brush and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Cleaning the engine cooling system

1. Dilute Dexotone 1:4 with water.
2. Let the mixture circulate via the cooling system intake.
3. Run the engine for at least 30 minutes.
4. Then flush the system thoroughly with clean water.
